Sound Mind: World Premiere Musical

SOUND MIND is a raw, electrifying new musical about teens entering an inpatient mental health facility, where group therapy becomes a space for connection and healing. When words fail, music takes over—transforming hidden pain into shared strength. The show is a powerful reminder that owning your truth is the first step toward change.

Auditions for ages 13+ will take place in Spring 2026 and rehearsals begin in June (remote).

KOTA’s Mainstage production offers the opportunity to rehearse and perform in a fully staged musical in an Off-Broadway venue in NYC under professional guidance, alongside adult performers. This audition-based program is designed for young artists ready to take on a focused rehearsal process, meaningful responsibility, and real-world performance experience.

Auditions for ages 7+ will take place in January and rehearsals begin in July (remote).

KOTA’s Winter Mainstage Musical is a joyful, fully staged musical experience performed in Times Square during the holiday season. Young performers share the stage with professional adult actors in a collaborative environment that celebrates ensemble, storytelling, and the magic of performing in NYC during the holiday season. Guided by industry professionals, KOTA’s Winter Mainstage offers a performance experience rooted in growth and joy.

Auditions for ages 7+ will take place in August and rehearsals begin in November (remote).
