THIS IS NOT A PRODUCTION OF SCHOOL OF ROCK. SCHOOL OF ROCK WILL BE OUR GUIDE FOR APPLYING ACTING TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES LEARNED IN THE CLASS, SUCH AS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, CRAFTING, STORYTELLING THROUGH SONG, MOVEMENT, DIALECT AND MORE. WE WILL BREAK DOWN THE STORY AND CHARACTERS THROUGH SELECT MUSIC, SHORT SCENES and RESOURCES.A note from KOTA’s Founder & Artistic Director, Laura Luc:
During the COVID-19 pandemic, so much of the entertainment industry has closed its doors. KOTA has decided to offer virtual workshops, in order for young actors to continue their training, connect with theatre friends, and do what they love the most — perform. This workshop also allows KOTA to employ artists as teachers and special guests, since so many professionals are out of work. Together, we will keep the arts thriving and help the industry bounce back.
A portion of the class tuition will be donated to charity.
