Frequently Asked Questions

We know parents and students often have questions before signing up, and we want you to feel confident that our program is the right fit for your family. Below you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions about our virtual acting classes, from scheduling and technology to showcases and class sizes. If you don’t see your question here, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

  • What if my child needs to miss a class or arrive late/leave early?

    • No problem! We know families are busy and schedules sometimes change unexpectedly. If your child has to miss a class, just send us an email. We’ll share the class notes and materials so they can stay caught up and ready for the next session.

  • If my child misses a class or decides to drop out, can I get a refund?

    • Tuition is non-refundable and we are unable to offer pro-rated fees for missed classes. That said, we do everything we can to make sure your child stays connected with the material and continues progressing.

  • Is memorization required, and how much work is expected outside of class?

    • Not at all! Students will work with scripts in class and won’t be required to memorize. While some optional practice outside of class may help boost confidence, the workload is intentionally light. Our goal is to build skills in a fun, supportive, and creative environment without adding extra stress to busy schedules.

  • What age group is this class designed for?

    • Our classes are tailored for students ages 8–18. We do occasionally make exceptions for younger actors under 8, or older students 18+, if you reach out to us by email. This way, we can make sure the class will be the right fit.

  • Does my child need prior acting experience?

    • Our classes welcome both beginners and more experienced young actors. We create a supportive atmosphere where every student can grow, take risks, and shine based on their own individual skills.

  • What technology do we need for the virtual class?

    • All you’ll need is a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection, a camera, and a microphone (built-in is fine, but headphones are helpful). We use Zoom and we recommend setting up in a quiet space where your child has a little room to move around.

  • Will there be a final performance or showcase?

    • Yes! At the end of the session, we record material for a virtual showcase, which families can enjoy from anywhere. In addition, all enrolled actors are invited to audition for our live showcase in New York City, where selected students will have the exciting opportunity to perform onstage. The date is still be finalized, but will likely be in early November.

  • How big are the class sizes?

    • We keep our classes intentionally small so every student gets plenty of personal attention and feedback. This ensures your child feels seen, supported, and encouraged to grow as an actor. If you’ve participated in our virtual productions before, please note that those events are typically much larger in scale. Our classes are smaller, more focused, and designed to give each actor individualized support.
